India Vs England Warm Up – Result

New Zealand got much closer in the end than they looked like getting, having suffered a stunning collapse to go from 81/2 to 103/9. The last-wicket pair of Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle put on 47 in quick time, taking the game into the final over. But it was a step too far for the duo. Mark Wood and Adil Rashid were the ones who engineered the New Zealand collapse after Guptill got them off to a quickfire start. With the bat it was all about Jos Buttler for England, scoring an entertaining 73 off 51, while Bairstow and Billings chipped in towards the end to get a competitive score. However, Morgan’s poor form with the bat continued, although he might’ve got a rough decision today. So that’s all from this match. We’ll be up with the next one shortly.
